I came to this work the long way around.
I'm Tracy Nall, therapist, grief counselor, Death Doula, teacher, student, and someone deeply curious about what it means to be human. My path here wasn't linear. Neither is grief. Neither is becoming who we are.

MY STORY
Before the therapy chair...
I spent years working in restaurants, bars, and behind the chair as a hairstylist. People shared their relationships, fears, losses, dreams, and all the messy things that come with being human. Those years taught me how to really listen.
My own experiences with loss, trauma, and major life transitions eventually led me back to school in my late 30s. After eight years of school, earning both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, my curiosity about grief continued to lead me deeper into mindfulness, yoga, somatic practices, contemplative traditions, death and dying, ritual, and the many ways we make meaning from what happens to us.
“Good Grief Wellness grew from all of it.”

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ME
Therapy with a real human.
Therapy with me is conversational and collaborative. I'll ask questions, offer perspective, challenge you when it's helpful, and make space for the things that may be difficult to say out loud.
You don't need the right words or a perfectly organized version of your story. You get to show up as yourself.
Curiosity
We’ll make room for the questions you may not have had space to ask.
Honesty
We can talk about the complicated, uncomfortable, and contradictory parts too.
Humor
Deep work doesn’t mean every moment has to feel heavy.
Connection
I want you to feel like you’re talking with a real person, not being analyzed from across the room.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Experience that supports the work.
My work is supported by specialized study and training in grief and loss, death and dying, contemplative psychology, mindfulness, somatic practices, and approaches that support meaning-making through change and transition.
My training informs the work. You, your experiences, and what matters to you shape it.

You don't have to have the right words before you reach out.
